The life we have received in Christ is not meant to be hidden; it is meant to be shared.
Every believer has been called into a divine assignment. Our salvation is not merely for personal comfort or private enjoyment; it is for Kingdom purpose. God saved us so that we may become His ambassadors on the earth, carrying His message of reconciliation to a world that desperately needs hope, light, and truth.
The Bible declares in 2 Corinthians 5:17–21 that if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away, and all things have become new. But the passage does not stop there. It goes further to reveal that God has given us the ministry of reconciliation. This means that every child of God has a responsibility to help bring men back to God through the preaching of the Gospel.
Our ministry is to reconcile men to God through the preaching of the Gospel. We are saved to save others. The life we have received in Christ is not meant to be hidden; it is meant to be shared. Jesus said in Matthew 5:14, “You are the light of the world.” As believers, we are called to shine His light in every sphere of life so that others may see Christ through us.
We Dispense Light, Life, and Truth
The world is filled with darkness, confusion, and deception. Yet God has entrusted us with the treasure of the Gospel so that we can dispense light, life, and truth to humanity. In 2 Corinthians 4:7, the Apostle Paul reminds us that “we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
The Gospel is that treasure. It is the power of God unto salvation. It has the ability to transform lives, heal broken hearts, restore hope, and bring men into the knowledge of Christ. We may look like ordinary vessels, but the message we carry is extraordinary. Therefore, we must never underestimate the value of the Gospel or the impact of sharing it with others.
A fulfilled life is not measured merely by material success, titles, or achievements. A fulfilled life is measured by obedience to God’s calling and faithfulness to His purpose.
Take Heed to the Ministry
Paul charged Archippus in Colossians 4:17, saying, “Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfill it.” This instruction is still relevant today. God has entrusted each of us with a ministry, whether through preaching, teaching, serving, giving, mentoring, or living as a witness in our daily interactions. We must take heed to that ministry and ensure that we fulfill it faithfully.
A fulfilled life is not measured merely by material success, titles, or achievements. A fulfilled life is measured by obedience to God’s calling and faithfulness to His purpose. At the end of our journey, our greatest joy should be to hear the Master say, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Do not bury your calling. Do not neglect the ministry God has given you. Rise up and fulfill your divine assignment. Preach the Gospel with boldness. Live as a witness of Christ. Dispense light, life, and truth wherever you go.
May we remain faithful to the ministry of reconciliation until the whole world hears the good news of Jesus Christ. Amen.
