One important truth is this: you cannot give what you do not have. But thank God, we have so much to give because Christ has deposited eternal life within us. We are carriers of divine verities — heavenly realities that can transform lives.
You were not saved to keep God’s life to yourself. You were saved to dispense it generously. The world is waiting for the life of God at work in you. Our anchor scripture is 2 Corinthians 2:14, which reminds us that God always causes us to triumph in Christ and makes manifest the savour of His knowledge through us in every place. This means that wherever we go, we are meant to carry the fragrance of Christ — His life, His power, His wisdom, and His love.
What does it mean to dispense life?
To dispense means to issue, distribute, give, or supply. As believers, we are dispensers of life — not our own natural life, but the divine life of God at work in us. One important truth is this: you cannot give what you do not have. But thank God, we have so much to give because Christ has deposited eternal life within us. We are carriers of divine verities — heavenly realities that can transform lives.
Jesus said in John 5:24 that whoever hears His word and believes has eternal life. In John 10:10 [AMPC], He declared that He came so that we may have and enjoy life and have it more abundantly – to the full, until it overflows to others. And 1 John 5:13 assures us that we can know that we have eternal life through Christ.
The total package of divine life
The life of God is not partial; it comes as a complete package. It includes: Divine health, Peace, Joy, Prosperity, Strength, Wisdom, Righteousness, Open doors, Favour, A glorious future. These treasures are already inside us. 2 Corinthians 4:7 tells us that we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the excellency of the power may be of God and not of us. We are ordinary people carrying extraordinary divine resources that makes us extraordinary.
An effective life dispenser never stops growing. We must go from faith to faith, strength to strength, and glory to glory.
How to Become an Effective Life Dispenser
1. Acknowledge the divine investment within you
Philemon 1:6 teaches that the communication of our faith becomes effective by acknowledging every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus. Many believers remain ineffective because they are unaware of what God has placed inside them. When you recognize that you carry God’s life, you will speak with confidence, pray with boldness, and serve with assurance.
2. Refuse to get settled
An effective life dispenser never stops growing. We must go from faith to faith, strength to strength, and glory to glory. Spiritual growth is not optional; it is necessary for anyone who wants to supply life to others. Do not become comfortable with yesterday’s revelation. Keep studying God’s Word, praying, and seeking deeper fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
3. Supply life lavishly
God did not give us His life to hoard it. We are called to supply the good life to everyone in our catchment — our family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, and even strangers. Dispense life through your words, actions, prayers, encouragement, generosity, and witness. Let people encounter the goodness of God through you.
The encouragement that changed a life
A young man named Daniel was struggling with depression and hopelessness after losing his job. He felt abandoned and believed his future was over. One day, a believer in his community reached out to him, prayed with him, shared scriptures about God’s faithfulness, and encouraged him not to give up. That simple act of dispensing life changed Daniel’s perspective. He regained hope, found strength to apply for new opportunities, and eventually secured a better job than the one he had lost. Today, Daniel is helping other young people overcome despair. What happened? A believer supplied divine life lavishly, and a destiny was restored.
My personal story
I remember a season when I felt inadequate to speak to young people because I thought I did not have enough experience or resources. But the Holy Spirit reminded me that ministry is not about what we naturally possess; it is about the life of God at work in us.
As I began to acknowledge the divine investment within me, I stepped out in faith. Through Life Upgrade with Uche, I started sharing God’s Word with young people, encouraging them, and helping them discover their purpose. Over the years, I have seen lives transformed, minds renewed, and destinies awakened. I realized that when you release the life of God within you, heaven can use your ordinary obedience to produce extraordinary results.
A call to action
The world is full of people who are thirsty for hope, peace, and truth. God has positioned you as a channel through which His life can flow. Do not underestimate your ability to make a difference.
This week, ask yourself: Who in my catchment needs the life of God today? Then intentionally reach out to that person with a word of encouragement, prayer, or practical act of kindness.

Dear Lord, thank You for depositing Your divine life within me. Help me to acknowledge every good thing You have placed inside me in Christ Jesus. Teach me to grow continually in faith, strength, and glory, and make me an effective dispenser of Your life to everyone around me. Let my words and actions bring hope, healing, and transformation to many lives, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Final charge
Never forget this: you are a carrier of divine treasures. The life of God in you is powerful enough to heal, restore, encourage, and transform lives. Do not keep it hidden. Go and dispense life lavishly to everyone God brings into your path.
